Welcome to Cimarron Mountain Club
An enduring legacy of alpine life, sport and family.
Cimarron Mountain Club is not a typical mountain resort. In fact, it may be unlike anything else on earth.
The Club is a private mountain retreat on 1,750 wilderness acres between Telluride and Crested Butte, with ski terrain to rival the best big mountain resorts. But rather than turn that landscape into a high density tourist destination, we chose to leave a small footprint on this pristine wilderness.
CMC is limited to Owners and guests of just 12 private ranches, most of which are ski-in, ski-out and/or have their own private ponds. The ten remaining ranches average 100 acres in size and offer spectacular views and complete privacy. The club is built for those who treasure the peace and solitude of wild lands and want to share in the stewardship, adventure, and recreation wilderness has to offer.
From their homes, Owners will connect with their surroundings through outdoor recreation led by the most personable and skilled guides in the industry — the same experts that helped design the Club’s ski, bike, and recreation trails. These activities include unlimited powder cat skiing, downhill skiing on groomed trails, Nordic skiing, fishing, hunting, horseback riding, mountain biking, hiking, and climbing. It’s also possible to heli-ski in Telluride Helitrax’s 200 square mile tenure in the high San Juans, with helicopter pick-up and drop-off directly at CMC.
Although the Club can feel like its own little world, it is only 45 minutes or a 10 minute helicopter ride from the airport in Montrose, which has direct, non-stop jet service to major cities throughout the United States.
